Transportation

The village has bus lines that leave from Granada, going through other villages of the Alpujarra until arriving to Juviles. There are two daily buses (from Monday to Sunday) from Granada to Juviles and another two in the opposite direction, that is to say from Juviles (with its corresponding stops in other towns) to Granada. Departure from Juviles to Granada: 06:00 h- 9:15 h arrival in Granada 17:15 h- 21:05 h arrival in Granada Departure from Granada to Juviles: 12:00 h- 15:35 h arrival in Juviles 16:30 h- 20:05 h arrival in Juviles These bus lines make a mandatory stop at the Granada Health Technology Park, both for the outward journey from Granada to Juviles and in the reverse direction. On the other hand, the bus company La Pradaera offers minibuses to the villages of the Alpujarra. So the young people who study at the Institute of Cádiar have transportation to and from the institute. These buses can be hired for other events.

The municipality has apartments located along two streets, an apartment complex on Calle Real and another on Calle Ciprés Alto. In addition, the municipal hostel of Juviles, a modern hostel consisting of two rooms with seven and six bunk beds respectively, which can accommodate twenty-six people. It also has modern bathrooms and showers with hot water. It is also possible to use a kitchen located underneath the bedrooms.

On the other hand, we find one of the most important industries of ham, the company Jamones de Juviles SA, producer of 100% organic ham, with a 100% natural curing and 100% handmade production.
